Association of Police and Crime Commissioners Chair, David Lloyd PCC said:
“We are all incredibly proud of what our police officers do, often going above and beyond what is expected in order to keep us safe throughout the year.
“National Police Memorial Day is an opportunity for those in the policing community and beyond to come together, to mourn and give thanks to those that have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Our thoughts are with their loved ones.”
