Statement from APCC Chair following the death of PC Andrew Harper

"On behalf of all PCCs I want to express my shock and deep sadness at the tragic death of PC Andrew Harper of Thames Valley Police. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.
"PC Harper’s death in the line of duty is a stark reminder to us all of the dangers that police officers face daily in keeping our communities safe. We are all incredibly proud of what our police officers do and the selfless courage they show in protecting the public. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to them all."
