APCC consultation response: Updating the domestic homicide review statutory guidance

The DHR or Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews Statutory Guidance is under review, with a focus on defining the role of PCCs in overseeing local reviews and ensuring effective responses to domestic homicides.  

Summary

In summer 2024, the APCC collated and submitted a response to the Home Office consultation on updating the DHR statutory guidance to ensure the PCCs’ perspectives are reflected. The APCC is now working closely with partners to prepare for its implementation.
