Chief Constable Sawyer took part in a session entitled: 'Measuring Up', which discussed the Home Office (HO) introducing a new performance framework on crime for police forces and 'scorecards' to track progress on rape cases.
We asked him about the current way police forces track progress on rape cases; will the HO framework change this and what can chief & PCCs do differently.
