Hampshire and Isle of Wight OPCC - Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance

Salary: £75,666 - £83,016

Contract: Full time and permanent

Location: The Offices of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Fareham, Hampshire. Attendance is required at the offices in Fareham and other Force sites on a full-time basis.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight OPCC has an exciting opportunity for a new Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance to join the team. This is a key role within the OPCC; a Senior Leadership position and part of the Executive Group with a wide range of statutory and corporate responsibilities.

Also acting as the Deputy Monitoring Officer, this role is at the heart of the business and will touch on every area of the organisation. It will lead of behalf of the Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for all corporate aspects of the office, business services, and non-financial governance and compliance.

Working to the Chief Executive, the role will support them in all statutory and legal requirements with responsibility for leading teams who manage risk, force performance oversight, data protection management, and statutory requirements on the management of police complaints and misconduct hearings.

As an experienced senior leader you will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-initiated ability and make decisions, often at pace. In addition, the post holder will have responsibility for managing the Executive Office which supports the Commissioner and Chief Executive.

Leicestershire OPCC - Prevention and Diversion Manager

Salary: £42,897 - £47,712

Contract: Full Time, Permanent 

Location: Force HQ

As the Prevention and Diversion Manager you will be leading on the design and implementation of key prevention and diversion strategies and initiatives and engaging with a wide range of new and existing partners. This is an exciting permanent new role working full-time based at force Headquarters and travelling around the Leicestershire region. You will be managing and co-ordinating Violence Reduction Network (VRN) prevention and diversion projects, as well as leading and supporting the development of resources to equip and empower a range of partners to engage and divert children and young people at risk of involvement in violence and associated harm. You will also provide strategic and operational leadership of the development and delivery of the VRN’s work.

West Midlands OPCC - Audit Portfolio Lead

Salary: £54,879 - £58,455 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent 

Location: Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners in West Midlands

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Auditor to join the West Midlands OPCC's Internal Audit team. As an Audit Portfolio Lead, you will play an integral part in providing internal audit services across the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and West Midlands Police. You will also have a key leadership role in supporting the Head of Internal Audit to deliver high quality audit services that comply with the Global Internal Audit Standards in the UK Public Sector.

Being a good communicator is essential as the role will require you to develop strong professional working relationships and build specialist knowledge across a range of portfolios.

West Mids are looking for someone who is a Chartered Internal Auditor (Institute of Internal Auditors) or a CCAB-qualified accountant, with extensive experience in conducting audits in complex and high-risk environments and who is motivated by professional development.
