Giles Orpen-Smellie, PCC for Norfolk
Giles Orpen-Smellie was elected in August 2021 as the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk.
We caught up with Giles at the APCC General Meeting and asked him about his priorities for the county.
"I'm not here in my own right, to be a sort of Super Chief Constable. I'm here to represent the public, ensuring they get the service they want from their Constabulary.
"I also want to address conditions that lead to crime, supporting victims of crime and dealing with offenders and rehabilitating them back into society.
"So, we've listened very closely to what the public has to say and we're now therefore reworking my draft Crime Plan to reflect the public's views."
