Philip Wilkinson, PCC for Wiltshire
Philip Wilkinson was elected in August 2021 as the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire.
We caught up with Philip at the APCC General Meeting and asked him about his priorities for the county.
"One thing that I've learned over the years is we have to take a comprehensive approach to security, And that means cradle to grave. We need to engage proactively with the local councils, with partners, with NHS England in all sorts of pre-emption and prevention activities.
The job of a PCC is not just about policing - it is also about the follow-through in terms of restorative justice and also victim support. And my whole plan is about victim support. The less people are committing crimes, the less victims, the safer everybody will be."
