Business Crime Matters
The APCC’s National Business and Retail Crime lead and PCC for Sussex, Katy Bourne OBE launched the report at a Parliamentary event on Tuesday 12 March.
As well as learning about the work being done locally in police force areas, Parliamentarians and retail representatives had the opportunity to speak to Mrs Bourne about the work she is driving on a national level to tackle shoplifting and retail crime, including her role in convening Operation Pegasus – a unique national partnership, which aims to radically improve intelligence-sharing between retailers and the police to better understand the tactics used by organised retail crime gangs and identify more offenders.
